How do Luban Planes compare to other brands?

Compared to most other brands on the market these days, Luban offer unbelievable value for money. The quality of their planes are exceptional for what you pay and they actually offer a level of planing accuracy and finesse that many of the old planing guard simply dont offer anymore.

All Luban planes are genuinely crafted with wooden handles, meaning theyre a pleasure to work with for long periods. All Luban planing blades come straight with no rough edges – unlike some of their more expensive competitors – ready for action. Theyre light enough to use while still retaining that solid feel, with superior lever caps that dont flop and havent been attached at strange angles. Put simply, they’re a formidable plane and compared to their competitors, an absolute no brainer.
